Impartiality:
Impartiality is simply defined in ISO/IEC 17025 as the pretense of objectivity. This means that the outcome or result of an activity is not compromised by a situation or action of a person. At TQM we strongly believe that “if no impartiality then not certified”. All TQM services are governed by impartiality. We aim to avoid conflicts of interest and ensure that the management structure, the use of resources, and the execution of processes are implemented and maintained in a way to avoid any compromising situations or actions. Moreover, we continuously assess the risks to impartiality.
Competencies:
The heart of the assessing /auditing process is the competencies that an assessor should have. We have established and implemented a process for:
- Determining and documenting the competence criteria
- Initial evaluation and ongoing monitoring of all personnel involved in audit processes
- Selecting, training, and formally authorizing assessors
- Monitoring competence and performance of all personnel involved in the assessment activities
